As most
of you know Brian was put on alert a few weeks
before Samuel was born. The unit had it’s annual
training Aug 14-28. During this time he was told
that he would be deployed to Iraq with Aco. 1/194
AR out of Wadena, MN. He is assigned to HHC 1/194 AR
in Brainerd, MN but will be attached to the Wadena
unit for the duration of the deployment. Lynda and
the kids will be moving to Texas to stay with her
parents while Brian is away. He is scheduled to
leave MN in early October, to attend training in New
Jersey for a few months, then to Kuwait for more
training, and into Iraq to conduct missions as a
security force element escorting convoy’s and VIP’s.
The deployment is to be around 18 months from the
time they leave MN.
